ROBYN'S WRITING

BOOKS

GETTING BI: VOICES OF BISEXUALS AROUND THE WORLD. This book, which she co-edited with Sarah E. Rowley, contains 184 short personal essays written by people in 32 countries, ranging in age from 15 to 79. It's an amazing book, and she is hoping that everyone in the entire world will purchase and read it, thus putting an end to bipohobia once and for all.

Robyn is the editor of the BISEXUAL RESOURCE GUIDE (Boston: Bisexual Resource Center, 2001), which includes, among (many) other things, an annotated bibliography of books with bisexual characters and/or content.

Robyn and the Bisexual Resource Guide were the subjects of a feature article by Heidi Randen in the Journal of Bisexuality (Haworth Press), Volume 1, Number 1, 2001, pages 5-26). (link to this interview)

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Letter writing is, for me, a therapeutic art. There is so much dysfunction out there, and so many reasons to be enraged! Rather than bottling it up inside, I have taken to writing letters. I send them to my elected representatives, to local and national newspapers, and sometimes directly to the person(s) who are the subject(s) of my anger. Not all of my letters are angry. Sometimes I write letters expressing my joy and appreciation. Click here to read some of the letters I've written.

Robyn's writings have appeared in Sojourner, Gay Community News, Empathy, Gay People's Chronicle, Bi Women, In the Family, The Jamaica Plain Gazette, and other bi publications too numerous to mention.
