Peg and I have been involved in rescuing animals from the Gulf Coast region that was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. There are thousands of dogs and cats and kittens and puppies in shelters and on the streets, and the situation remains desperate. There is a great need for adoptive homes, and also for donations.
